Privacy
This is the page about Maple at maple-kit.org. It is a static page: it has no accounts, no forms and no server of its own, so there is very little to say.
What the page does not do
It has no analytics and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. It loads nothing from other sites: the fonts, the images and the videos are all served from maple-kit.org, and the page's content security policy refuses connections to anywhere else.
What stays on your device
The light and dark switch remembers your choice in your browser's local storage, under the key maple-theme. It is read by the page and never sent anywhere. Clear your site data to remove it.
What happens when the site is built
The star count on the GitHub button is fetched from the GitHub API when the site is built, not when you visit, and is published as plain text. Your visit does not cause a request to GitHub.
Who serves it
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare may keep standard request logs. Those are Cloudflare's, under its own policy, and this site does not read them.
Terms
Maple is open source under the Apache-2.0 licence, which is the only set of terms there is.
