About Maple

Maple is the open-source frontend review toolkit. Mount it in your own app and review a deployed preview in any state, as any user: point at what is wrong, your coding agent reads the comment over MCP, and CI holds the merge until it is resolved.

Why it exists

Code got fast. Planning, DoDs and edge cases didn't. An agent ships a whole feature in an afternoon, the design covers the happy path at best, and designers and PMs now start the work themselves. Someone still has to look at what was built.

Maple is for that look. Reviewers work on the running preview, and what they find goes straight back to the agent that can fix it, with the context it needs.

Who builds it

Maple is built by Nitzan Kletter. She writes on dev.to and is on GitHub, LinkedIn and X.

Where it stands

Maple is in beta. The first commit landed on 18 September 2026, and it ships as 8 packages under @maple-kit. Some interfaces can still change.

It is open source under the Apache-2.0 licence. What is not built yet is on the roadmap.
